The existing University of Ulster’s Coleraine Campus block E first floor lecture theatre and function rooms were refurbished to provide two new kitchens, dining areas and toilet facilities. A glazed link spanning across an existing courtyard was constructed to link the two areas. Externally the glazing was replaced with new curtain walling, brickwork was overclad and the roof coverings replaced. A new box office and toilet facilities were provided to the Riverside Theatre.

The new facilities opened in July 2013 at a cost of £1.3m.
