St Dominic’s Grammar School
Client:
The Trustees of the School
Overview:
Location: Belfast
The redevelopment of the School campus included refurbishment of existing listed buildings and new build elements.
The overall concept was to unify the school maximising the potential of the listed building and to create an open sided collegiate style quadrangle on a grand scale facing the public road.
The appearance of the new wing takes its lead from the listed building reflecting details such as the solid to void ratio, massing, gable features, arched head windows and steeply pitched roofs.
