The rationalistaion of the Student’s Union at the University of Ulster, Coleraine Campus has now been successfully completed with the feature spiral stair the centrepiece.
We have a vacancy for an architect with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience and a CIAT Registered technician with 5 years office based experience.
Applicants should be highly motivated with proven design and technical knowledge. Key requirements include proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to work in a team to bring ideas and contribute positively to projects. Experience of Autodesk Revit and University, Post Primary and Special School projects an advantage.

Institute of Technology, Blanchardstown, Dublin
BAM Construction on target to hand over the first phase of the new Sports Pavilion to the Institute of Technology Blanchardstown this August. Phase 1 facilities include internal and external changing rooms, support accommodation and a 180sq.m. first floor gymnasium overlooking the sports pitches. This is one of three projects we are currently working on with the Institute

Samuel Stevenson & Sons are pleased to have been appointed by the Western Education & Library Board as NEC3 Project Managers and Architects with our Integrated Design Team for the new £20m Rossmar and Belmont/Foyle Special Schools. We are looking forward to working on these exciting projects further broadening our expertise in school design.
Starting to take shape the final phase of the Students Union Rationalisation at the University of Ulster, Coleraine Campus.
Construction works continues apace on the major refurbishment and extension of the grade B Listed former Elmwood Manse at University Terrace for Queen’s University Belfast. The building when complete will provide a new centrally located GP practice for the University Health Centre who are currently housed in premises at Lennoxvale.
The main Contractor McAleer & Teague are on programme for the completion of the scheme in late summer 2014.
All staff workstations are resourced with Autodesk Revit software and we have outsourced BIM training which is taking place in February and March. Samuel Stevenson & Sons are in line with Government targets to be BIM level 2 operational.
