Magherafelt Nursery School was officially opened on 11 Dec 13 by John O’Dowd, MLA and Minister for Education.
Christmas cake and buns were followed by the pupils putting on a festive performance with songs and costumes that was enjoyed by all.
Planning Permission has been granted for the major internal and external refurbishment of the Whitla Medical Building on the Health Sciences Campus at Queen’s University Belfast.

North West Regional Sports Campus – Derry
O’Hare & McGovern have started on site in earnest – lets hope the fine weather remains!
We are pleased to welcome Part 2 Graduate Architect Martin Delaney to join the Samuel Stevenson team. Martin has a special interest in 3D computer modelling and Architectural photography.
Derry City Council have appointed O’Hare and McGovern as Main Contractor for the North West Regional Sports Campus. Works on site due to commence on 7th October – watch this space for progress!
Great to see the refurbishment of the sports hall at Strathearn complete. Hope all the pupils and staff like the new colour scheme.
Magherafelt Primary School built by Glasgiven Contracts is one of only four schools to be selected for the CEF Construction Excellence Awards 2013 in the Education Infrastructure Award category. Congratulations to all the team.
Recently completed, the student’s dining area and kitchen has had a facelift at the Coleraine campus.
The office will be closed from Monday 8th July to Friday 12th July. We will reopen on Monday 15th July at 9.15am.

St Mary’s Primary School in Newcastle has been officially opened.
With terrific entertainment from the pupils followed by a delicious lunch, the Opening ceremony was performed by Bishop Farquhar, Darina Flanagan, School Principal and John O’Dowd, MLA and Minister for Education.
Well done to the pupils of St. Joseph’s Primary School, Carryduff on the official opening of their Eco Garden with MLA Alex Attwood. The garden makes full use of the boundary surrounding the playgrounds.
